The Zimmerman Center has a weekend of holiday activities for your family and friends to celebrate the season! Stop by the Zimmerman Center the 2nd weekend in December to discover how the Susquehannock people celebrated the winter season and how the families that lived in the historic Dritt Mansion experienced the holidays! Guided History Presentations start on the half-hour. Watch bake oven demonstrations in the open hearth fireplace and enjoy festive refreshments! Create ornaments and decorations for our local birds and wildlife to enjoy. Visit our outdoor Nature Space and warm yourself by the fire circle! Roast marshmallows and string popcorn over the open fire! Learn how generations of families celebrated the holidays in Pennsylvania and start a new family tradition at the Zimmerman Center.
