Paddle for the Park

Description

Join us for the first annual Paddle for the Park event at Codorus State Park! Bring your kayak or paddle board to explore the lake and visit up to five docks to play a round of 'Go Fish'! Each paddler will start with a hand of cards and travel to as many docks as possible in the allotted time to try to gather the best 'Go Fish' hand. Prizes will be awarded to the best hand, and multiple giveaways will be provided from our sponsors. Further instructions will be given before the race.

Event will be held on October 1st at 9:00am with check-in beginning at 8:30am. All registrants are expected to return to the main dock by 11:30am when hands of cards will be documented and prizes will be awarded by noon. In the case of poor weather conditions, the event will have a rain date of Sunday October 2nd, with the same times.

We will be meeting in the pavilion beside the main boat launch. There are bathrooms located on site. If you have trouble finding the location using GPS, it is the same parking lot as the band shell in Codorus State Park
