Creativity York Summer Camp

Learn from the masters and make artwork all your own! Each day look at a famous artist and their techniques, and create artwork inspired by their process. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

Learn, experiment, and play with different watercolor techniques in this painting camp! Campers will learn technical watercolor skills, as well as how to use it as a means of expression! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Are you ready for a challenge? Learn and experiment with different watercolor techniques in this painting camp! Campers will learn technical watercolor skills through a variety of projects such as color wheels, landscapes, and more! Campers will also learn how to analyze their own artwork. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Develop the look, personality, and props for your own unique cartoon character, then create a storyline to show them off! Students will start with pencil sketches, then finalize their creations with pen, in and artist markers to really make them pop! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Get Inspired by critters! Learn how to sculpt with clay while creating animals from the land, sky, and sea, as well as environment and prop items for their animals. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Art and Science go hand in hand! What types of art can you make while doing science experiments? How can we use the chemical properties of materials to create unique pieces? Explore and experiment in this fun art camp. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

Create artwork that you can use at home! Campers will have the opportunity make a cup, bowl, plate, and more! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.  

Channel your inner Swiftie in this art camp! Make artwork inspired by Taylor Swift’s lyrics and albums by using calligraphy, painting, sculpture and more! Campers will be able to personalize their pieces with their favorite eras, all while listening to her music all week long. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Learn how to use the pottery wheel in this week long intensive! Students will learn how to wedge clay, throw on the wheel, trim and design bowls and cups. This intensive is open for beginner and intermediate students. Each registered student will receive one (1) Creative York t-shirt. 

Study the style of anime while designing your own characters! Students will start with pencil sketches, then finalize their creations with pen, in and artist markers to really make them pop! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

Travel around the globe by making art from different countries! Campers will use a variety of art making techniques to create projects based on Mexico, India, China, and more! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Turn your doodles into masterpieces! Learn how to use lines and patterns to make a variety of artwork throughout the week. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

Show your love for Squishmallows by making art! Students will make paintings, sculptures, and more all about their soft and fun friends. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Experiment and learn while filling a sketchbook full of artwork! Students will each receive a sketchbook to draw, paint, collage, and more throughout the week! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting in this camp! Students will build their skills each day of the week to make them mini artists! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.  

Learn lifelong skills in this sewing camp! Campers will learn the basics of sewing while creating projects to keep! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Make art with live animal models! Campers will learn basic clay handbuilding skills and once they are mastered, students will work on an animal clay sculpture of their choice! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Learn lifelong skills in this sewing camp! Campers will learn the basics of sewing while creating projects to keep! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Make art with live animal models! Campers will learn basic clay handbuilding skills by working on an animal clay sculpture of their choice! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Show your love for Squishmallows by making art! Students will make paintings, sculptures, and more all about their soft and fun friends. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Students will explore what makes them unique by expressing their interests and personal characteristics in clay! Students will learn techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch to utilize their own self expression. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Create your own book using bookbinding techniques, as well as a story with characters and artwork to live inside! This camp will also feature live animal models throughout the week. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Travel around the world by learning about ceramics from different countries such as Japanese jomon pottery style, Greek vases, Italian sgraffito carving, and more by creating projects inspired by historical pieces, with your own personal twist! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. 

Create your own book using bookbinding techniques, as well as a story with characters and artwork to live inside! This camp will also feature live animal models throughout the week. Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.

Channel your inner paleontologist and learn new dinosaurs each day while working on a variety of art projects! This mixed media camp will have our campers using materials in unique ways to create their dynamic dinosaur projects! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t–shirt for the summer. 

Calling all Pokemon Trainers! Learn clay sculpting skills by creating your favorite Pokemon out of clay, making pinch pot Pokeballs, and more! Each registered camper will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer.
