Tracie’s Treasures Family Child Care exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for Infants, Preschool and school-age children. My focus is to provide stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. My goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners

 About Me

I was born in Baltimore Maryland, My Mother was a stay at home Mom and my Father was a Baltimore city police officer. I am also married to a police officer for York City. When I was 14 we moved to Harford County Maryland and I attended school there and Graduated from Edgewood High in 1991. After graduation, I worked in a daycare center for several years until I had my first child Kacie. In 1998 I decides that I would stay home to raise My Daughter. In 2002 I had my second child Jacob, and after he was a year old I decided to start my own Family child care. I was a neighboring provider, providing care for three children until 2006 and decided to become Licensed with The Department Of Public Welfare Of PA, allowing me to provide care for 6 children.  In December 2009 I received my Child Development Associate Credential at Pen State York. On July 30th 2010 I became Accredited with the National  Association For Family Child Care (NAFCC).  I was also in the Keystone Stars Program and achieved a Star 4A, I am a strong advocate for Family child care.

Education Program

Infants Program: 6 weeks-18 Months

My infants are held when bottle fed talked to a played with, included in all activities. Help with reaching milestones at their own pace. Lots of love and support.

Toddler Program: 19 Months-3 Years

My toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured activities. Their days are filled with music, dance, art, storytime and more.

Preschool Program: Ages 3-5 Years

Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum I created is packed with educational elements that follow the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standers. I teach skills like Language and Literacy Development, Social and Emotional Development, Health, Wellness and Physical Development, Creative Thinking and Expression, Mathematical Thinking, Social Studies Thinking,  and hands-on science exploration.
