The Imagination Station has operated at 6 Park Avenue in Shrewsbury since 2010, and the 87 East Forrest Avenue location, also in Shrewsbury, opened in 2014. Owned and operated by two experienced elementary and special education teachers, the Imagination Station is much more than just a daycare! It is the perfect place for your child to develop the social, emotional and educational skills to become a lifelong learner. Each classroom is designed so that the children are engaged in meaningful, age-appropriate, hands-on activities, with the ultimate goal being Kindergarten readiness (which is WAY more than just knowing your ABC's). Here, children learn to share, to solve problems, make friends, and they learn to learn! Children at the Imagination Station will regularly participate in activities that explore language, math, reading, writing, music, art, dance and physical movement, and the best part is that they will be having too much fun to realize that they are learning!
Our professional teachers are proud of their knowledge and experience! Our staff is committed to continuing education in the field of early childhood education through in-service training, workshops and the pursuit of child care credentials and degrees. Every one of our veteran teachers is certified in First Aid and CPR, and trained in emergency preparedness and fire safety.
