Have you ever looked at a painting or drawing and thought it was missing something? A little extra character, perhaps? Some added whimsy? At Just Add Monsters, you can take any of the 50 donated art pieces at The Rage Room-York and customize it by painting your very own monster into the scene. For kids afraid of things that go bump in the night, this is a chance to take control and create monsters that will chase the darkness away. Adults can let loose and embellish artwork destined for sale or display. The only limit is your imagination!
While you’re painting, don’t miss the special 11 AM appearance by children’s author Raven Eckman reading from her delightfully monstrous book Itchy Pants. Her character Booglie is sure to get your creative juices flowing!
