The holidays are a magical time of year. It's a time to come together with family and friends, and the Stewartstown Railroad Company Holiday Excursions offer you the perfect way to make some magical memories with those you love! The holidays are also a chance for us to help those in need. So year we will also be hosting a Holiday Food Drive! We want to ensure everyone has enough food for the holidays, so we're asking that you bring a non-perishable food item along with you to be donated to a local food pantry. Some things that are most requested by food pantries are peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned stew, canned fish, canned beans, & pasta. We hope you'll join us for one or all three of our excursions this year! Tickets go on sale October 1st—get yours here before they sell out!
Santa Claus Express
We invite you to take a train ride with the big guy himself, Santa Claus! Our 1920 Passenger coach will be decorated for the season. Every family will have time to visit with Santa. Take your own photos at no extra charge. Every child will receive a treat from Santa. Children under 2 are free but require a ticket. This train ride is about 50-60 minutes long. Times listed are departure times. Please arrive 30 minutes early to pick up your ticket. Our train rides are rain or shine!

We received special permission from Dr. Seuss Enterprises to offer a reading of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, written by Dr. Seuss in 1957. Every family will have time to visit with our special Holiday Grump (can you guess who it is?). Every child will receive a treat from The Holiday Grump. This ride might be best for older children, the Holiday Grump can be scary to young children. Because Santa Claus and The Grump don’t get along, Santa decided to take this day off. Children under 2 sitting on an adult’s lap ride free but require a ticket. This train ride is about 50-60 minutes long. Times listed are departure times. Start your holiday with a wish come true! We invite you to take a train ride with our special guests, the Ice Queen, the Ice Princess and the Ice Harvester. Join along as our special guests sing songs you know and love. Everyone will have time to take photos with all our special guests at no extra charge. Please feel free to dress up as your favorite Ice Princess or in your favorite dress up outfit. Santa will not be on this train ride; he is taking the day off to prepare his sleigh.
