Why backpacks?
On average, families spend about $864* on school supplies each year and 1 in 5 school-aged children live in poverty. To help those in need in our community this year, 1,162 of our retail locations will be participating. To date, we’ve given away 1.3 million backpacks and hope to add giving away another 130,000 backpacks this year !
