Mythicon Brings Magic, & Music to Gettysburg

Let your inner child run wild at Mythicon February 17-19

Are you looking for something fun for the whole family this February?  Let your inner child run wild at Mythicon: Mid-Winter Gathering of the Fae February 17-19, 2023! 

Mythicon is a unique blend of renaissance and fairie festivals mixed with music festivals with a sprinkle of folklore and the arts at the Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center in Gettysburg, PA.  Participants can look forward to live music, drum circles, and performances,  panels about fantasy and folklore topics like “History of Unicorns” to “Folklore, Fakelore or Fact, the Gameshow”, workshops such as “Mummer for Day” and “Belly Dance for Any Body”, make and take workshops to make hat making, scale mail for beginners, and pysanky egg making.  Other daytime guests include a unicorn, mermaids, magicians, and other unique characters.  There is also a mythic market featuring over 50 unique artisans. 

As day turns to evening, participants can view a thrilling fire show performance by Guinness World Record holder, Schuyler White and Ohio Burn Unit followed by Frenchy and the Punk, a cabaret-inspired rock duo, and This Way to the Egress, an audible cocktail of musical influences, on Friday night at the Time Traveler’s Ball on Friday evening.  Saturday night will also feature a fire show followed by the Frost Faerie Ball with Kindred Crow, a celtic inspired band, and SJ Tucker, siren storyteller through song. 

Mythicon is a family-friendly event with children ages 12 and under being able to participate for FREE and tickets for teens aged 13-17 half price.  Come for the day, the evening or stay the whole weekend with tickets to fit any plan.
