By Northern Central Railway January 24, 2022

Northern Central Railway of York is offering youngsters an exciting and educational summer camp experience. Kids will actively participate in a wide variety of learning activities that will introduce them to the magic of train travel, the mechanics of trains, and the science to be discovered up and down the tracks. This “train camp” will both entertain and educate. Each day, children will:
1) Build, construct, and operate various train-related projects
2) Listen to award-winning train books by a professional storyteller
3) Meet a specific railroad worker (engineer, brakeman, conductor, etc.)
4) Share a snack
5) Create a special “museum activity” to summarize their summer experiences. The camp is based on the five elements of S.T.E.A.M. Each day, children will actively participate in a creative variety of “hands-on, minds-on” activities.
