Fall has finally arrived and with the cool weather comes lots of Fall and Halloween fun at the Northern Central Railway- Steam Into History! From Fall Filoage rides to Trick or Treat fun there's something for every member of your family to enjoy this Fall!
Fall Foliage Rides
Let the brilliant hues of autumn and the stunning York County scenery capture your imagination as you enjoy a relaxing scenic excursion on board the No 17. Fall Foliage excursions to Glen Rock, Hanover Junction and NEW for 2019 Seven Valleys. Fall Foliage Excursions run October -November. Click here for times , dates and more details.
NEW FOR 2019 Ghost Tracks & Campfire Frights ( Kid Friendly)
Enjoy a voyage down the tracks to Seitzland, PA and experience spooky stories throughout your journey into the forest. But the fun doesn't end there! We'll be deboarding at the Railroad Park where you can roast hot dogs and make smores while listening to more spooky tales around the campfire.
Ticket Includes: Stories in all the cars, campfire & food (1 hot dog per person, and 2 smores).
Guests are welcomed to additional food, donations welcomed.
Please remember to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets, Steam Into History will Not be providing chairs or blankets.
Campfire is weather dependent!
Trick-Or-Treat Flyer
Enjoy a fun train ride to Seitzland while listening to silly Halloween stories. Visit the gift shop before your ride to create a sand art necklace. After the train excursion, children are welcomed to participate in the trunk-or-treat located in our municipal lot located south of our station. Children will receive a small pumpkin following the train ride.Both adults and children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes.

The historic attraction, with a replica 1860s steam locomotive and a GP9 diesel engine, hosts excursions that educate, entertain and enlighten. In the past 5 years, Steam Into History has contributed over $20 million in direct and indirect revenue to the County of York, PA.
