Brown’s Orchards and Farm Market is celebrating the summer season with camps for children who have completed 3rd-7th grade. All camps are Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm and the cost is $125 per child.
Each camper will receive lunch each day and receive special items related to the camp theme throughout the week. The camp staff has extensive teaching backgrounds, love working with youth and providing fun activities,
daily encouragement, and life long education to children.
Camp Dates and Theme's
June 12-15: Green Thumb Gardening Camp - Campers will have the opportunity to learn about all of the produce grown on the orchard trees and on the farm at Brown’s and campers will become wonderful gardeners practicing gardening techniques
daily and learning about a variety of plants and how plants grow. Campers will complete several gardening projects to take home from their camp experience. Come grow with us!
June 26-29: Sensational Summer Science Camp- This summer camp celebrates and explores the science that surrounds us each day. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of fields of science and create science projects each
day of camp. Campers will explore science in a variety of ways and have guest scientists visit them at camp. Campers will receive a Science book to take home and explore projects with their family.
July 10-13: Fun on the Farm Camp - Campers will explore a variety of places, tools and activities that make it possible for a produce farm to operate. Campers will have the opportunity to meet some of the orchard staff to learn about farming and will
have the opportunity to practice being a farmer with special farming opportunities.
July 24-27: Brown’s Baking Camp/ Baking with Amanda - This summer camp will teach campers some fun baking techniques and will provide campers with a variety of yummy treats! Campers will have the opportunity to meet Brown’s
professional baker to learn about careers in baking as well.
August 14-17: Culinary Cooking Camp/ Cooking with Chef Jess - Campers will learn, taste and prepare food with the help of a Brown’s professional Chef Jess. Campers will be inspired to prepare meals and learn about meal presentation and dining
etiquette. On the last day of camp all campers will provide a meal for their parents/guardians (2 adult guests per camper) which will begin at 12:00pm. Sign up for some savory fun!
