The Glen Rock Farmers Market is excited to announce we’re hosting a Mascot and Logo competition! The Mascot and Logo competition offers an unprecedented opportunity for Elementary, Middle, and High school students in Southern York County to create an original Mascot or Logo that will be used for the Farmers Market!
The Mascot portion of the competition is open to students in grades K-5th March 1-May 7th, 2017. Students are asked to create and name their own original drawing of a Mascot that embodies the spirit of the Farmers Market. Drawings must be submitted by 1 pm on May 7, 2017. Drawings can be dropped off at the Macaroni Kid booth at the Glen Rock Farmers Market May 7th or mailed to 3823 Sticks Rd Glen Rock Pa 17327. Please include your name, grade, and an email or phone number you can be reached at with your drawing.
The Logo portion of the competition is open to students in 6th-12th grade March 1-May 7th. Students are asked to create an original Digital logo for the Glen Rock Farmers Market. The winning logo will be used on the Glen Rock Farmers Market social media account and promotional items. Logos are due May 7th, 2017 by 8 pm. Logos can be emailed to Sarah at sarahfrane@macaronikid.com Please put Glen Rock Farmers Market Logo as the subject line and include your name, and grade in your email.
One winner will be chosen from each category by a group of Market Volunteers. Winners will be notified privately via email or phone by May 14th, 2017. Winners will be announced publicly at a short award ceremony during the May 21st Farmers Market.
